This centrifuge was developed for applications that do not require high speed centrifugation, such as microfiltration and cell separation, and can also be used in a cold room. On closing the lid, the rotor quickly accelerates to maximum speed. Pressing the button on the front of the unit stops operation and opens the lid. Alternatively, the unit can be turned on and off with the switch at the back.
